Are you serious

I guess I've become public enemy number one. Yes Kari does live here with me cuz she spends more nights here than at her parents home. Does that mean we are commiting sexual sins, no. Am I walking on thin ice in that regard, maybe. But I know the consquences of results of actions and choices. Do I mind when a fellow brother comes along side and checks up on me and sees how my walk is, no. Do I even mind if you ask if I've stayed pure, no. But what I might not like is being treated differently or being judged on decisions I've made. I'll be the first to admit if I mess something up. And if I do mess something up then I won't need comdenation or rebuking (cuz quite honestly GOD is good enough at that) but I will need Brothers to stand beside me and help me.

I also think that it took guts to let you guys know that Kari spend A LOT of time here including nights instead of trying to hide it from you. But if you guys want to remain in the blue about things let me know. I'll be generic then and not the DRAPER you all are used to. But I don't think that is what any of you want. You are all my friends and I don't want that to change. I am still Draper and that won't change. I know the FATHER loves me and HE loves all of you too. So again I say that I have not commited sexual sins nor will I. I will wait until I'm married. Please feel free to respond. I would love open and honest dialogue.

I LOVE YOU KARI

PAX

Maybe just my Opinion

Lets just say you have a 17 acre college campus and ring of keys gets stolen that has keys for the entire campus. What do you think would be a reasonable amount of time to get all the keys n locks changed. I'm mean we are talking about the safety of the staff and students as well as the possibly of losing millions of dollars of equipment like computers and other things. I would think a week should be ample time for something like that. NOT 2 AND 1/2 MONTHS. Thank you Multnomah Bible College for taking your sweet ass time with getting them replaced and in the mean time lets have my dad's wallet and check book stolen yesterday out of his LOCKED office. What a bunch of frickin moron's.

RESUME
My name is John Kerry and I would like to report for duty. Here is my resume for your review. NAME: John F. Kerry RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including Washington, DC, all worth multimillions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Law Enforcement. I voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA and defense bill in my career as a US Senator. (Source: Congressional Record) I ordered Boston to remove a fire hydrant which I considered unsightly, in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire. (Source: Boston Globe) MILITARY: I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from the military and served four months in Vietnam (as documented by the attending doctor). I then returned to the US, joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming that I and they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest. Of course I did not report these atrocities when they happened nor did I try to stop them. (Source: My book; Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier shows how I truly feel about the military. I deplore the military!) COLLEGE: I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. (Source: Registrar @ Yale University and many national news media) Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor graduate with an M.B.A PAST WORK EXPERIENCE: I was Lietenant Governor under Michael Dukakis and I ran George McGovern's campaign. I ran for U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except that of a gigolo, by marrying rich women and running HJ Heinz vicariously through my wife Teresa. (Source: Every major news media) ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Difficult to name one! But, as a US Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even Ted Kennedy. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against budgets, thus gutting our country's ability ! to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it. I voted for every liberal piece of legislation.(Source: Congressional Record) I have no plan (well, I have a plan but it's a secret) to help this country but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected. (Source: Every major news media, based on what he has promised.) My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make little charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in Massachusetts, despite family wealth in excess of $700 million. (Source: Campaign Disclosure Act) I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like Asia, Mexico and Europe.(Source: US News and World Report, Time) We can make more profit from the cheaper cost of labor in those Countries, although I like to blame George Bush for sending all of the jobs out of the US. I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, while! Ted Kennedy and I oppose windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts. (Source: Boston Globe) RECORDS AND REFERENCES: My name is not associated with any significant program or bill or anything noteworthy in my 20+ years in Congress or as Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts. The "Scarmouche." * I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop and feel it reflects our real culture. (Source: Time) I own several "Large" SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer mansion, though I am against large polluting inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for the energy problems. I also own an Audi but I told the auto workers union I only buy US made vehicles. (Source: Time ) PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE AND INTEGRITY WHEN VOTING IN 2004

An interesting title . . .

So I was at Borders the other day and I came across a most interesting title. It was so interesting that I had to stop and pick it up and start reading the book. It's title you might ask was "Jesus: Last of the Great Pharohs" . I read a little bit of it and it perked my interest. Not that I really believed it but I thought it was entertaining to say the least. I think I might pick it up sometime just to read the whole thing but I just couldn't convince myself to buy it then. I had my eyes set on something else.

My eyes were set on a new game. But contrary to what you are thinking it wasn't a game for my PS2, or for my computer. It was a new card game. I bought the card game Yu-Gi-Oh. Some of you might think that I'm crazy or childish but I don't care. I've been interested in it for awhile after watching the cartoon. So I broke down and bought 2 starter decks and some extra cards and look forward to getting to play it at some point. But enough for now, I've got a Cubs game to go to. I LOVE YOU KARI.

So What

That is what I have to say to all of you that think I'm a horrible speller. I seem to be doing alright with the way I speak and spell so why does it bother you so much.

But enough ranting for now. I've really started hard into looking for a new job. It's not that I don't like the one I've got but I really would like some better hours and also better pay. I'm not super picky about what I want for a job, I just gotta like it enough. My biggest reason for wanting to get something new is so that I can spend more time with Kari. Another reason would be all of the shows that I like watching at night that I don't get to see. Thirdly I have the chance to play basketball with Kari's oldest brother Eric in a church league and I think that would be really fun to do. So keep me in your prayers for something to turn up.

I've decided to start doing my quote game again for a couple of reasons. First it is fun. Second it gives me an idea of how many may actually read this and thirdly I know that you all missed it.

So the first one is, "You know the difference between me and you? I make this look good."

I LOVE YOU KARI.

News

Well I didn't get that other position at Bank One but I'm ok with that. I know that there's something out for me. It's just a matter of me finding that. I'm excited that I going to pick up Madden 2005 for my PS2. Apparently this is the last year of it. So it is even more a must get. I'll probably be playing it all weekend long since Kari will be out of town with her family. They go up to Greenlake, WI every year for Labor Day weekend with a group of their friends. I would have gone but I originally didn't think I could have had the time off. Turns out I could have but oh well. It gives me a chance to relax some. I get to pick up some overtime on Monday too. So I'm not arguing with that. No much else for now. I LOVE YOU KARI.

Better late then never

Well Jed and I promised each other that we would update our blogs this weekend. He made it and I was a day late. But oh well. Not much new over here. Just been working a lot of hours and trying to relax when I can. I only have to work at Bank One this week so that is nice and I get next Monday off as well so I'm happy about that. Kari and I are doing well. She's been working her nice shift that she got of monday thru friday 8:30 to 5. I wish I could say the same. But oh well. Maybe something will come along that will be better. I find out today about the interview I had a couple of weeks ago. Or I might find out tomorrow. I would be really happy to get it if I could. I get to go to a Cubs game here on September 12th. I'm looking forward to that. Oh and for you MBC people that might not know, Dr. Dan had cancer and it just had surgery to have it removed a couple of weeks ago. He seems to be doing find. Well until later. I LOVE KARI.

A New Band

I wanted to tell you all about a new group that I've gotten really into. They are called Story of the Year . I picked up their cd before I left for Michigan and I haven't been able to put it down since. They have a great sound and put a lot of effort into their music. It is one of the most enjoyable albums to listen too and I have yet to grow tired of it. The are kind of a punk/emo type band. They remind me of the band Thursday at times which is another group that I really like. Not much else to say at this time.

I LOVE YOU KARI.

Like I know what to title this

Well I'm not really sure what to write about today. I just feel like its time to update. So let's see here. At Bank One I'm going to interview for a new position, it isn't a pay raise but it might mean no more weekends as well as make it easier to get promotions later on. So that is one good thing that is happening right now. Kari and I went looking at apartments over the weekend and you can read about it at her blog. So that does mean for the rest of you that do read this to go and read it and comment on her blog so she knows that someone besides me it reading it.

Sorry about the shortness of the post my brain isn't functioning well today. I LOVE YOU KARI.

I'm back

Well Eli I know you've been waiting for me to post so here it is. I apologize for the long gap again but I was in the Upper Penisula of Michigan for a week of vacation with Kari and her family. It was a lot of fun. We were staying in a cabin just off of Lake Superior. Outside of the bugs it was a great place. We went on a cruise of the Lake and saw a 1200 ft ore boat while we were on it. We were able to get within 150 feet of it. A very cool site. Kari and I have a lot of pictures that I will try to send out to some of you. It was no TV, Internet, Cable, Cell Phone, and some other accessories for the week and I was fine with that. There is a lot more I can say about the trip and I probably will but later. But if any of you have questions about it feel free to ask. I did a lot of reading on the trip. I read the latest book from the Redwall series and it was really good. I also read the second and third books from the Ender Series. Those are such great books. I look forward to reading the rest of them.

Not else new going on. Just back to the grindstone. Today is a day of celebration though. Today is Kari and my 2 year anniversy. We exchanged cards this morning and will be officially celebrating it on Friday night. I LOVE YOU KARI SO MUCH.

Vacation

Well thank the Lord I made it thru the last couple of weeks.  I'm one tired boy, but I'm also so thankful that I get to go on vacation for the next week with Kari and her family.  It is going to be a lot of fun and relaxation.  And I am certainly looking forward to that.

It has  been so humid out here lately but I guess that is just a part of living in the Midwest.   It also provides fun lightning storms.

Not a whole lot for me to say.  I'll update tomorrow b4 I leave.

Another Day

Well, I didn't going to see "I, Robot" today but I will at some point.  And it looks like it still made to being the #1 movie for the weekend w/out my money.  I did end getting a lot of supplies and things for the trip to Michigan in which I leave in less then a week.  Praise God!  I've only got 4 days of work left before I have 8 off in a row.

It's been a while since I've heard from 2 ppl and I wonder how they are doing.  One of them should have been back from their honeymoon a little while ago and the other one I'm not to sure what he's been up to, though his wife's health maybe limiting his blogging/commenting on things.  But if you 2 have figured out who you are get in touch with me.

I've watched with Kari the last 2 weeks a new show on USA called "4400" and it has been really good.  For those of you with cable you should catch it see what you think.  The basic premise deals with 4400 humans who have gone missing from the earth over the last 50 or so years and then all of the sudden they reappear together back on earth with out aging a day.  It is entertaing thus far and I'm hoping that it will continue that way.

Here's a side note for you Eli to see if you are reading this.  La Quinta Inn's Corp has started the process of buying Baymont Inn & Suites.  If the deal goes thru then the combined company will have close to 600 hotels in the USA.  If you do read this Eli I want to hear you opinion on it.

I LOVE KARI.

I think they are over

Well the Lakers as we use to know them no longer existed.  Trust me, I'm weeping like a baby.  NOT!!!  So since they were the "best" team of the west last year I think it leaves it wide open for the Timberwolves to start their reign in the NBA.  But anyways.

I've decided that my stomach at this time doesn't agree with Burger King.  I had it last night and lets just say I had to leave work early today do to the affects it had on my body.  No fun what so ever.

I'm looking forward to seeing "I, Robot" this weekend.  It looks entertaining and worth the price of admission which is always a bonus.   Until later all.

Fine Molo, Have it your way

OK OK, so I've been a little slow lately in my posts.  I have a perfect explaination for it though.  I've been working over 60 + hours lately between my 2 jobs.  So E don't hate me, but you seen I haven't forgotten about all of you, I've just been busy.  Not a whole lot new here.  I'm going to upper Michigan for a  week the end of July here and I'm very excited about it.  I'll have to try to update a lot before I leave to appease some ppl i guess.  I'm about to head out to do some shopping with Kari for a wedding we are going to after we get back from Michigan.  It's not mine so don't worry.  I'm reading Ender's Game again and have borrowed the rest of the books but one from the library and plan on reading them all while I'm in Michigan.  I'll write more later.

Something to Ponder

Well I've been thinking about this for awhile so I decided I would finally write about it. So many times in today's society you hear people saying that they have "Black Pride" or "Asian Pride" or some other time of ethnicity "pride". It really makes me stop and wonder... Hmm, If I said I "White Pride" I would be considered a racist, a bigot, and lots of other names. But I'm doing is the same thing that others are doing. Nothing really different but yet I'm the one considered to be in the wrong. So I have an idea for everyone that takes pride in something. How about take PRIDE for being an AMERICAN and not for being a different ethnicity. So take PRIDE IN AMERICA if you want to be proud of something. And if you just can't get over your race or someone elses then maybe you should go back to your home country and have your pride there.

Review's n Updates

Well Hello everyone. A couple of reviews and some info for you all. I just got done reading the book "Ender's Game" now I know what you were talking about Eli. It was one of the best books I've read. Eli, you shall now refer to me as "Bean", anyways it was one of the most enjoyable books I've ever read, and I encourage everyone else to read it as well. I've also seen a couple of movies lately. The new Harry Potter is very well done. I think it is my favorite of them so far. Can't wait for the next one. I also saw "The Notebook" this weekend. Another very well done movie with a good story and some great acting in it.

As far as updates, I got back from Portland on Monday after being there for Joel's wedding (it was fun and great to see everyone) and spending time w/ friends and family. It was good to see my parents and sister and spend some time with them. I'm still working at both La Quinta and Bank One right now. I'm in the process of looking for 1 job that will give me better hours and pay me what I'm making at both jobs combined or more. Kari just started a new job with Screen USA and is loving it. She already makes more then I do at the hotel. Oh well, I am nothing but happy for her. I LOVE YOU KARI.

Well it's be said

Letter to the Editor found in USA TOday,

"Supersized hype

Am I the only one who does not understand the hype behind Morgan Spurlock's movie, Super Size Me ("'Super Size' balloons," Lifeline, Life, Wednesday)? Spurlock ate three meals a day at McDonald's, and his weight went up, his cholesterol rose, and he had potential liver problems. Well, duh! This movie tells us only one thing: We should enjoy these foods in moderation. Anybody who believes that a diet of fast food on a daily basis is OK needs to have his or her brain supersized. Aaron Webster"

I find this highly amusing. And you know what? I totally agree with Mr. Webster. I think he hits it right on the nose.

I spent the day today at the Art Institute of Chicago and let me tell you was it nice. I had lots of fun and they have some great peices of art there. And the best part about it is that I got in for free cuz I work for Bank One. See there are benefits to working for the big people.

Well that's all for now. See a lot of you in Portland real soon. I LOVE YOU KARI.

But anyways, I am now a person that is back in the game, and by game I mean, I've got High Speed Internet again. That's right I'm back sucka's!!! I'm so glad that this last week is over. I put in over 70 hours of work between my 2 jobs. Up at 5am to work at the hotel from 5:30am to 10:30am and the home for a little bit and the working at Bank One from 1pm to 10pm. Fun Fun. NOT! That makes for one sleepy Draper. I passed all my audits this month at Bank One so as long as I collect enough money, (and with the pace I'm on that shouldn't be 2 hard) I'll make incentive this month, though it won't get paid out until July but still it will be nice. Nothing new really for me too report. Just gettin ready for bed but before I do that I'll be helping Kari make her own blog so when it is up and running I'll put a link on here so that you all can see it. I LOVE YOU KARI!!!!!!!!!

Well here I am again. Isn't it funny how life is? Bank One (my current employer) is in the middle of a huge merger w/ J.P. Morgan & Chase. So there are a lot of worries w/ in the company that are afraid that their jobs will be eliminated when it is completed. But do any of us really know? NO and NO!!!!!!! So in my thinking, why worry. It won't do anything but upset your stomach. But anyways, that brings me to my next point about all of this. I am searching for a new job again. Not that I don't have a job right now, or that I don't like my present job, but I don't think I want to make a career out of what I am doing right now and I would be a lot more happy doing something were I didn't have to work weekds and get paid enough money to wear I didn't have to work 2 different jobs at the same time. It just frustrates me to no end. But enought ranting.

I went a saw "13 Going On 30" with Kari and it is a well thought out and put together movie, quite enjoyable. I can't believe my birthday is in 8 days. I'll be 24 for all of you that forgot how old i was. but anyways, I LOVE YOU KARI.

I can't wait for it to be summer. Cuz then it will actually be baseball season and the Cubs will be going full force for the Title. So a lot of people should be expecting Hell to freeze over this year if you know what I mean. Kari is doing well and enjoying her job still. I ran out of luck for finding the Dream Theater tickets so I guess I"ll just have to wait again to see them. Oh well. I'll sign out for now Later all.

I have a new job for all of you that don't know. I am working for Bank One now. And let me tell you already that I am loving the change. I will be working in the call center here and I can't wait for my training to finish so that I can actually do my actual job and start earning incentive checks. If you want to know more exactly about my job email me or call me and I'll fill you in. The number is still the same as it was in Portland for you all that might not realize it. I am still working at the hotel but just one day a week now. And I'm doing that to just supplement my income for awhile.

Life itself has been pretty good. Kari and I doing well. We spend as much time together as we can since she has school and work now so it becomes a balancing act to get as much time as we can. I LOVE HER SO MUCH.

I'm trying to get tickets to the Dream Theater concert here in March but to no avail yet. It has finally started to warm up and for that I am glad. Hopefully it will stay that way. Kari and I saw "The Passion of the Christ" and we both thought it was great. We walked out of the theater in silence not really knowing how to process it all. But anyways. To all of you in Portland, I will be there in June for Joel's wedding and am greatly looking forward to seeing you'll. I have heard rumors of a get together Friday night after the wedding for a bunch of us. If I find out more I'll let you all know. Well I'll try to update this as much as I can but for sure it will be once a week on Sundays for that is when I am working at the hotel right now and my only internet access usually. Later for now.

What is the world coming to! Not that I have anything to really say about this, I just felt like saying it. Life is here is good. Well except for one thing. IT'S TO FREAKING COLD. But now that is out of my system. I having been shopping my resume around trying to find a better paying job and more money, so hopefully that will work out.

I started reading an interesting book last night. It was called "Bible Code II". All I can say is wow. What a bunch of markley. I went into it with an open mind to honestly and openly evaluate it. But boy did the author make it easy to not believe his book. Email me or call me if you want more info about my opinion of it.

I got lucky the other day. I bought a covax cable to plug my TV into the wall just so I could get local channels. And low and behold what did I find but that the cable company forgot to turn the cable off. So right now I have free cable in my apartment. Talk about a nice surprise.

Not much else is new right now. I plan to come back to Portland in June for a friend's wedding and my sister is going to visit me here that same month on her way back from France. I'll leave you all for now, until my next post.
